Is there a podcast of the Monday night coaches show?

Nope. In addition to a podcast they could also video it and post it on the department's YouTube channel.
Whatever happened to the coaches TV shows? Ball State and Buffalo both have half-hour shows that showcase their programs and athletic departments. We should use the WBGU facilities at our disposal and bring them back.

Do "we" own the coach's show or is it the property of our broadcast partners?

Don't know, but it's in the best interests of the athletic department to have a show like this out there and not get one-upped by Buffalo, Ball State and the rest of the competition. There's about a million channels that need content and it wouldn't be a stretch to persuade them to spend a half-hour per week showcasing a Division I athletic program with a huge alumni base.

One upped? Given the audience for those shows it's probably like 1/8 or 1/10 up...

Yeah...there is value in those shows, even if it's just done as a training exercise for broadcast students and a means to build interest with the students.

That's what I was thinking too. Build interest and connection with the students and give the future Simone Eli's and Jordan Strack's some experience at the very least. The Ball State show looks to be student-run and it's superior in many respects to professional ones.

I'd imagine Learfield Sports owns the rights to the Coaches Show and thus BG would likely need to ask for permission to use it in a podcast format. I obviously don't know how that would work out but I would assume it wouldn't be too difficult to arrange.
