Just a heads up...

I just checked the listing and Time Warner has Central @ Michigan State as the noon game on BTN. So you will need to search around for the Big Ten alternate channels to find the game.

My guess is you'll need to stream it from the BTN website.

Biggest reason why I decided on satellite...alternate channels.

Thank you for this website. I found the game on Directv 610-2 HD. The website had the game on 610-1 or 610-1 HD.

That website tells me my only option is BTN2Go. Why do they have three channels (2 alternates and the original) if they don't use the alternates? Half the time the alternate channels show the same shows as the original, defeating the purpose of the three stations.

We're better off having someone tape every quarter on their cellphones, upload them on YouTube and post them here. The commentary would undoubtedly be better.

They are using the alternates, and do every week (at least on Direct TV). I'm guessing it's up to your provider as to whether they let you see the games, or whether they decide only to take the main game and nothing more. You also may have to buy an upgraded sports package to get anything beyond that one game per week (I know some providers have such things). Happily, Direct TV shows all the games each week, so I will get to see the Falcons play.

Thanks for the heads up on the alt. channels. Dish has BG game on ch. 588: i'd programmed inreg BTN , only to find the CMU game later, after i'd done it. But Thanks to this new lead, I'll hopefully be able to see the game (gonna be in Va. Visiting w/ son's family, seeing grandson's football game).

GO FALCONS! \:D/

Who needs Easter Egg hunts when there's the weekly mad scramble to find a channel that carries our games? Meanwhile the fans of East Stroudsburg turn on the TV and have nothing to worry about. ](*,)

The good news is likely after this week there won't be anything to worry about as the ESPN family of networks will be carrying the remainder of the games.
