Tigers take on the Bearcats on ESPN. I hope Memphis rolls Cincy, who really struggled to put away Miami last weekend.

A Memphis player took a cheap shot to the head on Cincy's QB Kiel as he was sliding. His head was hit and whipped to the ground and hit hard. Kiel has been on the ground motionless for a long time and he is being carted off.

All the best to that young man. And I couldn't help but think of some of Johnson's carries last week.

Kiel is being carted off and he is motionless.

Looked like a clean hit to me. He didn't actually hit him in the head at all. His head hit the ground following the hit but that hit was on his shoulder, and the QB wasn't down yet.

It's really hard to watch Memphis right now, seeing them play is too soon, it's like putting salt in an open wound. Damn we let that game get away last week. I wish Maryland was playing tonight instead.

UC's backup QB broke the single game passing record at Cincy, 557 yards. Cincy had 752(!!!) yards of offense on 100 plays. Video game numbers.

Paxton Lynch is an absolute stud of a QB. 24-36, 412 yards, 2 TDs passing. 11 carries, 52 yards rushing. They will pound USF before getting their chance at Ole Miss at the Liberty Bowl.

Memphis' D is terrible. But, that's back to back weeks of potential game winning or game tying drives. Hats off to them.

BG's OOC schedule is looking mighty fine at this point. Memphis is the real deal, however I'm not sure they'll be able to sustain season-long success by playing basketball on grass and trading TDs every game. Ole Miss will probably end up taking them to the woodshed since they have the athletes to stop their offense.

Will We?

In 2 games, Memphis has given up an absurd 1,331 yards and 87 points and is 2-0 in those games. That's unthinkable. Their defense gets shredded all game long, but somehow comes up with one stop at the end that saves the game. That's playing with a mighty thin margin of error, but somehow it's working so far.

Sure was a crazy game. So we are 1-2 with losses to 2-1 TN and 4-0 Memphis.

I like the Gators but hope TN beats them tomorrow.
