MAC Pick 'em Week 5

Week 5 ushers in the majority start of the MAC schedule, although there are still a couple of non-conference games this weekend. The MAC has proven itself to be deeper and more competitive than most thought before the season started, which could likely lead to chaos among the leaderboard in the coming weeks as things are extremely competitive!

7. LSU over Eastern Michigan. If EMU pulls this off, maybe we should all head for those bomb shelters. End times are coming!
6. UT over Ball State. BSU absolutely can win this one. I don't think it happens but it would be fun if I'm wrong.
5. Bowling Green over Buffalo. Buffalo will try to play defense and time-of-possession but BG gets an early lead and UB cannot keep up. Big win and a 1-0 start.
4. FIU over UMass. Maybe UMass' offense will start looking like last year's offense. Their schedule has been rough.
3. Kent State over MU. Kent's defense is great. They return all their starters from last year. After getting shellacked by Illinois they seem to have figured it out.
2. Northern Illinois over Central Michigan. CMU is remarkably better without Enos the ever-incompetent. They CAN pull this off but NIU has vengeance on their minds.
1. Ohio over Akron. OU has been impressive so far. The loser of this one will be in a rough position conference wise and it's the conference opener for both.
