I stumbled across a list that I found interesting, showing what MAC teams' records are against teams that are "current" Power Five teams. Obviously some of the teams who are now P5 teams weren't at the P5 level (BCS, bigger named teams and conferences, etc) when some of these games were played, but I still found the list interesting. I was surprised about a few results on this list. I figured Miami was #1 but I didn't expect to see them by that much. I also didn't expect to see Ohio or Kent State as high as they were and I also expected to see Toledo slightly higher. I also expected BG slightly higher as well.
Miami - 33
Ohio - 20
Bowling Green - 16
Toledo - 16
Kent State - 15
Northern Illinois - 14
Western Michigan - 11
Buffalo - 8
Massachusetts - 7
Central Michigan - 6
Ball State - 4
Akron - 4
Eastern Michigan - 0

You know what wasn't surprising? The last team on the list. Wow, they're just terrible!
ROLL ALONG!!!

EMU just makes me shake my head. They are the standard for futility. Since 1975 they only have 133 wins. That is just a shade over 3 wins per season. BG has 259 wins in that time span or 6.5 wins per season (I would have expected better). EMU has 34 losing seasons in that time period-BG only 16. How does a school maintain a fan base that way?

Eastern Michigan is averaging less than 6k fans per game this season.
