Interesting quotes from Maryland's AD on his firing of Randy Edsall and his coaching search. Sounds like BG could have a lot to do with both situations.

On when he made a decision: “This morning when I woke up, I had made my decision. I hadn’t made a decision until this morning. It started back in the second game of the season (a loss to Bowling Green), when we looked at how we played and questions as we progressed or did not show progress in the way we were losing. It was brought to my attention then it may need to be addressed.”
On what he wants in the next head coach: “If we look at football today, fans want exciting, wide-open offense. Part of why we weren’t successful the last six games, we’re going to open up the offense, and there were things we did yesterday at Ohio State. We’re going to continue and embellish that. You look at the better coaches, they bring that kind of enthusiasm to the game. That’s what I’ll be looking for, and that’s what we’ll get.”
