Roger Lewis eligible for the draft

I didn't think about this prior to the announcer talking about it but he has been out of high school for 3 years and can go pro. He will definitely get drafted if he maintains things well off the field.

I doubt he leaves this year. He's got more he can do, more he can improve upon with this coaching staff. He'll be a Falcon next year.

It's your typical Globe post saying goodbye to players long before they are gone. Remember when Ronnie Moore was transferring after his Freshman year...

Let's fire up a 2 deep for next year just for the heck if it.

It's very unlikely this coaching staff is here next year.

Globe, you need to be smacked right now. You're the only person in the whole world who would make a post just to start s**t, following a 59-10 blowout victory by BG.

Dick move man, dick move.

Hmmmm...interesting. Didn't think about that. It doesn't come up that often but I'm not 100% sure that the nfl doesn't consider prep school as another year of hs. Can anybody think if any examples of somebody going to prep school then leaving after 2? Could be I'm just not sure. I've also not considered the possibility because I have yet to see a draft site listing him as an eligible player. Which would surprise me given his size and numbers.

one of a couple of people on this board that believe that the sky is always falling. I'm quite happy that I don't live in that world because it seems to be a depressing place.

Man...I sure do hope somebody takes the time to type out the three deep for us in the 2017 season. We need to see that.

I frankly had no idea. I was really surprised that I had not thought of it for how much I follow the draft. When the announcers said it today in the game I thought it was surely worth some discussion here. In regards to draft sites, I would gamble he is still hidden a bit. Lower profile school and just a Sophomore. They are busy on the sure fire going pro seniors and the underclassmen from the Power 5 right now. Eventually someone will realize the tp WR statistically was at one time an OSU commit and can go pro and everyone will take interest.

Looks like we lose 5 starters on offense and 6 on defense. Plus our kicker. That is quite a bit but we are a pretty talented squad. I have not heard anything about Matt Johnson coming back for a 6th year but that wouldn't totally shock me. Obviously Roger Lewis is in there until he declares.

On offense the biggest adjustment will be at QB although Knapke has some experience. The WR group loses talent but frankly it's just loaded and if Lewis stays it will be special again. Without him I thin it's still special. Travis Greene is a big loss at RB but we have a talented backup group. The OL just loses Heuttel off the starting group and Cairo additionally from the 2-deep.

Why do you have to finish a season before you talk about the next? It clearly says what this is about in the header. You can just pass by things that don't interest you.

Dude, we're winning thus there isn't anything bad for certain people to complain about this year no matter how hard they try, therefore it is incumbent on them to rain gloom and doom on next year. I mean, really, now we may lose next week because Kent only allowed 10 points against UMASS AT UMASS. OH, NO! Generally speaking I usually roll my eyes and ignore it but sometimes it gets to the point of being comical.

FWIW this team is awesome and ridiculously fun to watch. I don't like talking about uniforms because color swatches and which color matches which one are not my thing. There isn't a damn thing negative about this post. Just some realities that normal people should be able to discuss without having meltdowns. Yikes.
