Kent State Roll Call

Post by MajorFalcon92 »

Sound off if you are going.

Me and the boy are a good maybe to make the trip with or without the camper. Been a while since I've been up that way for a game.

How is the tailgate scene and parking?

FalconFreak, this is your backyard. Any guidance with location, times etc?

As it now stands, Joyce + I are planning to get down to game, possibly with my daughter and her husband as a birthday present for her. Weather sounds as if it should be great, unlike Saturday's HC WEATHER. ](*,)

Booyah. Love road games at Akron and Kent. We always park at the far end of the main lot, on the home side of Dix (lol) Stadium. All the way back by the grass and trees. Should be out there no later than 9 but hoping for 8-8:30. Very easy to get there. Take I 76 east from Akron to the Rt 43 Kent exit. Turn left on 43 for about 3 miles and then turn right on 261 and you'll basically be at the stadium. If you want to meet at my crib, let me know and you can follow us. Come back after to the game to grill on our deck and watch more football...celebrating another BG win.

Count us in too - like FalconFreak, just a fifteen minute drive. Oh, and I am bringing my two little falcons too. Looking forward to a beautiful day watching our boys administer another beating. I expect a large crowd of BG supporters. Hey, I even recruited an Akron fan to come to the game and root against the Flashes....

Kent is a great college town to hang around and visit before or after the game. Safe travels to everyone going.

Outside of Toledo, Kent usually has the largest Falcon, road contingent.

True dat. We usually take over the stadium when BG plays there.

Two years ago we had a large turnout of BG fans. It wasn't a 50-50 crowd but it felt and seemed like about 70-30.
GO BG!!!
