I was never so glad to see a penalty flag than on that play. Dellinger was twisting Matty J's ankle after the play and I don't blame MJ one bit for kicking him off.

Too bad that he is a senior, as I foresee a high HARD fastball next year in his first at bat if he wasn't! :butthead:

Perhaps the kick in the head will have to suffice. Pretty cheap move. [-X

Was happy we hung some more points on them after this. Dirt bag.

What a piece of garbage. Looks like that Ohio State scumbag who was choking the Wisconsin QB way back in 2003, or the Michigan State defensive lineman who yanked Denard Robinson's facemask to the side well after a play in 2011. These dirty plays (so often targeted at the QB!) have no place in the game. I hope I never see a BG player do something like this.

For Dellinger's sake, I'm glad Kent got shut out. If we could have held them to negative points, I'd have been happy.

I remember when BG played WKU in 2007 and one of their players either stomped or kicked a BG player and injured him.

It was bogus Matt was flagged on this play but no one ever said MAC officials were competent.

A few plays later, the announcers mentioned a nice crack-back block we had on Dellinger. They said it was nice to see we singled him out like that.

It was a punk move by the Dellinger kid. But, a ref can't let kicking someone in the head go.

I was fine about everything that happened after. Matt should have did what he did. I'm glad BG called the crackback on him and I'm glad they threw it deep with a 34 point lead after it happened.

I'm surprised our penalty monitors on here weren't all over a unsportsmanlike conduct call....

I was at that game and remember that play. The defense had made an interception and their guy was making a short return along the opposite sideline. Our O lineman was 30 yards away and in no way was involved in the play that was going on and one of their D lineman clipped him at the knees from the side. Dirty as could be. I'm guessing he was frustrated from being dominated the entire game and that was his cheap shot way of getting payback. Our guy's name escapes me, but if I remember correctly, the hit blew out his knee and it was his senior year. Felt really bad for him to go out that way. That WKU player should have been suspended for that.

I can remember when we opened the 2004 season at Oklahoma and one of our D linemen gave OU freshman RB Adrian Peterson a "cup check" after a run.

I think it may have been Nick Davis.
