NIU trails 17-13...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

Huskies QB Drew Hare left the game in the 2nd quarter on crutches...almost halftime and NIU is hanging right there.

17-16 at the half...and Tommylee Lewis is also out for NIU.

Not impressed with Toledo, Ely continues to overthrow guys.

If Hare and Lewis were in NIU would be up. NIU offense has gone mostly cold with key injuries.

Toledo's running game scares me. Remember what Hunt did to us last year?

And our O should scare the sheet outta that D....it isn't that good.

Also, in MAC games, we are giving up less than 100 YPG rushing.

Toledo isn't UMASS, Buffalo, Kent or Akron. They have solid O- line and good backs. Not #20 in nation for nothing. Our defense will be challenged big time. Need to make Ely beat you.

I agree, we have the offense to score with them, more so than NIU.

We also had the worst coached defense in FCS last year. Last year is last year.
