Tuesday night MACtion

Couple chances for some scouting tonight as Toledo plays Central and Ball State travels to Athens.

I'm rooting for a Toledo win tonight as I think a Rocket team losing two straight heading into the BG game will have some extra motivation to continue the streak.

Eh...I'd rather Toledo just get trounced. I don't want to see them in Detroit...my heart can't take playing them twice in one season...lol.

Plus, I think we'd fare much better against either CMU or NIU in Detroit than Western.

I think the Chips beat them...I want to see them lose. I think ut on a 2 game losing streak is in desperation mode and making more mistakes.

Our boys have all the motivation they need to end that fugly 5 year streak. they've been talking about it since Day 1 of summer camp.

So much for that...If CMU doesn't wake up, they're gonna lose 57-0. tsun is up 21-0 in the 2nd...

I haven't been impressed with either team. If Toledo plays like this against BG, they'll get beat.

Suddenly, toledo looks pretty middle of the pack as does CMU. Western looks to be the cream of the west.

How spoiled are we with our skill positions and line? I'm seeing so many drops in this UT vs CMU game. Can't wait for tomorrow night. Should be a heck of a game.

I suppose that I should have checked here first - I just posted about this under Other Schools  anyway, CMU trails TSUN after three, 21-17.

Chips need a stop in the worst way...21-17 with 7 min left and tsun inside the red zone, 3rd and 4.

tsun' secondary is a joke....

tsun leads 28-23 with 3:26 left....

Not impressed with either of these teams. Toledo has done little outside of the first quarter the last 2 games.

CMU has done everything they could to give this game away.

Once CMU woke up, UT looked downright pedestrian. CMU lost because a) they started slow and b) UT stuffed the run. CMU is badly missing aa reliable run game.

Yep, CMU cannot run the ball at all. We can.

You could win by 3 scores. Or offensive coordinator blows beyond comprehension and our QB has digressed as the season has wore on. Only way Toledo wins is if Johnson has a horrible game and Hunt and Swanson combine for 300 yards rushing

It's a rivalry game so everything is thrown out the window. I suspect Toledo will be aggressive on offense to try and counter what BG will be doing. Anything can happen and likely will as it's a big game for both teams as BG may still be playing to clinch the East and Toledo playing to stay alive in the West.
