.....BG beats WMU or NIU beats Buffalo. If it wasn't for Kent State's bonehead 4th-&-19 pass interference call at the end of the KSU/UB game last week, Ohio's win over Kent State last night would have locked up BG's spot in the MACC last night. Tonight is an important night as UB only has Akron & UMass left while BG still has Toledo and Ball State. GO BG!!!

Screw all that stuff. If BG limps into another MACC I won't even want to watch it. Just win!

The players seem to recognize this as well. Been all business for the entire program from the players to the coaching staff this week. Last year's swoon in November needs to be fresh in their minds.

This team runs into a better ALL Around team tonight... Yes our Offense might be better but WMU just a better team especially at home.

Lewis might be the most physically talented player in this game, but Matt Johnson is the best player in the Mac and I don't think there is a close second. To say wmu has best player on the field is hogwash, IMO.

If I had made the above (very wrong) prediction (and statement), I'd expect to be given the business. So sicsic should be asking what he wants on that crow he's going to eat all week. Oh and by the way...not recognizing your own team's QB as the best player in the league is just ridiculous. When the voting is done, Johnson will be the MAC Player of the Year (assuming he finishes like he's been playing all season). And it won't be close.

This was a very impressive win on the road. WMU IS a very, very good football team. So winning this game was great. Now, for an encore, they need to do something no current member of the BG football team has done: get a win over Toledo. If this team can do THAT, and then close out the year by winning the MAC title game -- they go down as one of the best. Win the bowl game as well, and they're right up there with the best of the best.

You know what's awesome? BG won the game last night because they had the best player in the field and it wasn't even one of the two guys mentioned above.

This team is unreal on offense and more than adequate in defense.

The scary thing is that best player wasn't Matt Johnson last night. TG earned that distinction and then some.

Who did this person think was going to be the best player on the field? Was that ever spelled out?
