I didn't think there was a chance, but then I read this...
Check out this article from Detroit Free Press:

I was thinking that. He has a degree and what more does he need to prove on the field?

I would assume he would like to make up for his lost season but who knows. Most of Mcclure's records would be wiped out with another season. Probably greatly depends on who the coach will be.
Globetrotter in 3, 2,...

As far as I know, Matt will not be returning. I spoke to his dad awhile back and he said the chances of him getting a sixth season are very slim. He's already graduated and I can only assume will want to move ahead with his life, whether that's playing pro football or not.

I'm excited about this. Obviously best case scenario is Matty J comes back, but if he doesn't I'd love to see Morgan. I know Knapke has a year of experience under his belt, but if this kid lives up to his 4-star rating it'd be sweet to see him be a 4 year starter.
If you watch his highlight videos he's the perfect QB prototype. He's big and athletic and has a big arm; reminds me of Cardale Jones in the way his bombs just look effortless. Plus he's from Wisconsin, so he's used to playing in the elements. Could have a lot of success here at BG.

At 6-4, he reminded me of Brian McClure back there. Head and shoulders above the rest.

I hope he's got a better arm than McClure... McClure was as smart a QB as I've seen here, but he threw a number of INT's because his mind saw plays that his arm couldn't make.

If Babers leaves.... I expect Morgan to transfer
