Even with all the distractions this week, I still feel very good about this game as there's unfinished business from last year's debacle. The senior class has a chance to go out with two conference titles in three years and Dino will cap off his tenure at BG with a title before he (most likely) heads off to Florida. As depleted as NIU is, they're still a good team and have been here before.

I suspect NIU might be able to keep this game close for a half before their losses at key positions really start to show through. They'll likely have to rely on their run game and defense to keep them in the game, but ultimately it will be too much to sustain over 60 minutes of football.

I think it will be close for a while. NIU is the defending champ and we cannot take them lightly...even with their injuries.
