Maybe he ingested some of that same substance at Nashville and that's what caused his sudden flop on the field.
Poor jokes aside, it's not a laughing matter. If due process finds the accusation to be true, then he just earned himself a whole heap of trouble, and rightfully so. Losing a starting interior defensive lineman as we're about to play a team that runs an option offense can't be a good thing, from a team stand point.

WTF???
What the hell is it with BG defensive linemen??? This unit has made headlines for off-the-field incidents for all the wrong reasons (drugs, fights, home invasions, dismissals, etc).
Mike Minns
Bryan Thomas
Jhalil-Nashid Croley
Darius Gilbert
Shaq Hall
Hunter Maynard
Orlando Barrow
Jacob Hardwick

Unfortunately this seems to be a trend in college football across the country.....there doesn't seem to be a team that can get through a year without 2-5 guys getting arrested. Schools should be fined or lose a scholarship when it happens. Make coaches more responsible for who they bring in and enforcing discipline. It won't stop everything, but you'd see fewer incidents.

First: This is a very serious matter. Depending on the facts here, Minns could be looking at major prison time, and it could be well deserved. He is accused of doing something absolutely horrible.
As for this post, I don't agree with it. I am skeptical this is a trend, and I don't think athletic departments should be penalized when one of their players is convicted of a criminal act.
First, where is the evidence that this is a "trend"? Because we seem to be hearing about it more often? That could a function of the fact that we all have access to the Internet now, or that fan message boards and social media have proliferated, or that media are much more likely to pick up on something like this than they were before.
Moreover, head coaches aren't mind readers. Dino Babers isn't accused of doing this. Mike Jinks isn't accused of doing this. The accusation is against Mike Minns. All we can ask is that BGSU treat this with the utmost seriousness, and that appears to be the case here, so far as I know.

If he is indeed guilty, good riddance to him, & may he get what he deserves.

The one story I read said he's on video committing the crime. That basically seals it for me.
