Tornado Warning and Flood Warning in Mobile

Post by gmartin »

Earlier this morning there was a flood warning and a Tornado warning with several confirmed touchdowns in the Mobile area. Hopefully the weather improves before kickoff.

You down there? If so..stay safe
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I am just outside Mobile. Heading over to the stadium shortly. We got a pocket of dry air so unless something else develops later we may be rain free!!

Way to represent. We decided against driving down there with the potential tornadoes in the state. Have fun.

Still dry as of now. Local reports say more rain around 9:00 CST. That will be 2nd half. If I were BG I would pass pass pass when it's not raining. Try and get a 2 TD lead as the 2nd half may be a struggle.

I sure hope they get at least a dry half. If not, this could be an ugly game to watch. Now, a wet field can be a big advantage for a passing team because the receivers know where they're going (the defenders have to change direction quickly) so it can lead to big plays. That said, rain and wind do not make for a QB's best friend. If this becomes a run contest, BG can compete, but the defense will have to step up in a big way.
