Baylor vs NC. & Texas Tech

Post by Falcon Commander »

Watching Baylot & NC....Baylor running some 'creative' offense with their # 1 & 2 QBs out, and going on 4th, several times so far.

Also heard the NC band play their version on AZZ....a little slower than BGs....boring.

Curious to watch Texas Tech later to see how they do and if BG gets any pub on Coach Jinks??

You don't need a defense.

2reasons defense is needed, Tennessee game and bowl game. We produced offense and a lot of it, they produced more. Any other game it would have been a closer score. Bowl game had sloppy weather and offense wasn't performing line vs Toledo. If we want to be in games when offense isn't we working got to have D to keep it close

The broadcasters never mentioned Jinks or Bowling Green, even during a protracted discussion about the improvement in their running game. Were they not aware or aware but didn't find it relevant enough to mention? I was hoping for something. The Texas Tech o-line couldn't block the LSU d-line and the receivers dropped several passes. Over on the Texas Tech board they felt they were outclassed athletically and didn't really blame the coaches. Baylor ran a variation of the same play 90+ times and North Carolina couldn't stop it. When you've got vastly superior talent scheme is less important.

Jinks needs to hire a big-time strength and conditioning coach and someone that can recruit Florida hard with the remaining spots we've got left on the coaching staff.

I was hoping so, too, esp. considering where Jesse Palmer's dad went to college. But anything outside the P5 doesn't exist to those chodesmokers and they were too occupied with drooling over Fournette for anything else to matter.

Just saw on ESPN that Davis Webb has been officially given his release to transfer and play elsewhere next year. It did not mention BG or any other school. Watching the Louisville-Texas A&M game where A&M is desperate for a QB, it seems like that might be a good move for Webb.

Then again, why would two 5-star recruit QBs transfer away from A&M before the end of the season when at least one knew he'd have the starting job once the other left? that might be a red flag to Webb to avoid that situation, whatever it may be.
