It was reported at the start of the semester that every player with eligibility remaining for 2016 had enrolled for spring. But since then we have had two massive losses at WR (Lewis and Dieter) and I now see a few other names missing on the roster in the spring prospectus that were expected back. Here's who is missing as best as I can tell at this point:

WR Roger Lewis - left for NFL
WR Gehrig Dieter - transferring to Alabama
WR Jermal Hosley - not on roster (several knee injuries in career)
DL Tyler Horstman - not on roster
DL Dave Runnoe - not on roster
OL Geno Zappa - not on roster
FB Kyle Bobo - not on roster

Where did you find the roster. All I found looked like 2015s but had 2016-2017 tagged into it

Bummer about Hosley. He had an extra gear to him. If it weren't for knee injuries, I bet he'd have been a big contributor these past years.

It's in the spring prospectus on the most recent release.

There were also a few new names that all appear to be walk-ons that were on the new roster too.

FYI - per John Wagner:

Two players who will miss spring ball are senior wide receiver Ronnie Moore and junior center Tim McAuliffe, as both recover from injuries that were addressed following the bowl game.

It did not address what the injuries are but I hope they weren't serious as they are both returning starters, especially with Moore as he is our only returning starter at wide receiver.

I also noticed a lot of number changes and a few position changes as well.

Keep an eye on LB's Quintaz Wright and Hendrix. Both are transfers who sat last year. Hendrix was highly touted coming out of HS, Wright less so, but he looks really good on his HS vid. Plus, he got into Milliken University where he played for a year. Milliken is a top notch University

FWIW, Jinks said that there will not be a depth chart listed until the spring game. When asked about Knapke vs. Morgan, he stated that Knapke's experience is certainly a bonus but seemed to indicate there would be open competition for the starting job.

He came away impressed by the work ethic and preparation of the team and thinks they'll latch onto his style of play rather quickly.

There weren't many, one I seem to remember seeing was Jack Kramer being moved from DL to OL per the roster. But there were a lot of number changes.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Hendrix. Another transfer eligible is WR Tim Tupa from Navy. He looked pretty solid in the spring game last year.

Looking to see what Matt Finkler from Kirtland can do at LB as well. BiG body and one hell of a player. RS'ed last year.

Looks like one of the new names on the roster, Jake Lemming, is a transfer as I see he redshirted at Iowa State in 2014.

For some reason I thought Trenton Green was not returning so it was nice to see him on the roster. That gives us the entire 2-deep back at LB.

Also William Watson is back on the roster. That will help at CB.

Several walk-ons including a QB, Mike Messina. That's good to see a little added depth there.
