I found a couple videos of Texas Lutheran on offense. The offensive schemes should look awfully familiar. The turnaround under Padron is incredible and his sudden ascent from DIII to FBS is remarkable.
But there comes the hesitation. Padron is now co-OC and QB coach, but his experience comes from coaching and scheming against DIII talent. FBS defenses are completely different beasts. With so much more athleticism, defenses can be far more aggressive and offenses can get away with far fewer mistakes. So while I do not question Padron's or really any on the coaching staff's credentials, the lack of high level coaching experience is a bit concerning. They will recruit very well but I'm worried the staff could be in over their heads come September.
