Preach it, Brother Freak!
Winter is a good time to be a Falcon sports fan, too! Although football is still tops in my book, I have so many fond memories of covering Falcon hockey (names like Paluch, Ysebaert, Emerson & Kruzich) and gymnastics (including Julie Bender's amazing senior year), not to mention lots of fun times at AA, watching folks like Irish and Motycka rule the rims!

Yeah, I've watched a game or 2 over the years. It's ok, I guess.

Great article Mike!
Michelle is heading up to BGSU tomorrow night for the women's game. She has jury duty so she won't have any trouble getting up there on time (hopefully). I'll be working so I told her to go and not wait for me. We're heading up to Savage Saturday night (1/15) for the women's hoops game against UT. I'll probably be sporting my BEAT TOLEDO t-shirt. We're going to be at the Rob Blake Night on 1/28 for the game against Notre Dame. Hockey has gotten to the point where we order tickets early to make sure we get a decent seat! I almost forgot, we're also heading to the double header next Saturday 1/22 to watch the women take on Western Michigan and the men face Toledo. I can't wait. AA will be rockin' and it will be our first men's game! Can't wait to get there!
A little off-topic, but have you or has anyone heard if there are highlight tapes available for football yet? They have to be doing something ... this past football season was great ... gotta have another tape to add to the collection! I also just emailed Mitch to see if he is still doing the DVD's of the GMAC Bowl. I would love to have one of those too! Well, gotta go. Take care everyone ... see you at the games! GO FALCONS!

Thanks for the kind words.
We'll be at the 1/22 hoops DH, 2/19 men's hoops and hockey and 2/26 women's game vs UT. I'll be listening to the BG/UT women's game this sat evening on the net. SO many games, so little time.
I have yet to hear about the football highlight tape. I think I'll email Jean Panning in the football office and ask.
