I saw a story about this earlier in the week in he Sentinel (I think) saw the names and ages and thought "well..at least it wasn't football players". Never even thought about the coaching staff.

Haven't been in BG forever but judging by the location and name it looks like freshman bar that changed names frequently while I was there. Pathetic.

So let me get this straight....he felt he wasn't given enough time to leave the bar? How much time does he feel he needs? Did he have to take a massive crap at 2:00 before he left? Did he lose his wallet? Was he failing to attempt to get a phone number? If not, Christ, the bar closes at 2:00 and the incident happens about 20 minutes later. How is that not enough time to leave??? I could understand if this happened at 2:05 or even 2:10 to stretch it, but 2:22? Your ass needs to go by then. This is completely unacceptable. It would be unexceptable for a player(s) to do (which happened last summer) and is even more unacceptable for coaches. It's embarrassing, and further, how do you expect your players to obey team rules that do not tolerate this type of behavior, yet, you can't follow these same rules yourselves as coaches? It's like a parent telling a child not to do something, then and turns right around and does it themselves. No offseason would be complete with some crap like this to deal with. SMH

New rule, bars are off limits to anyone connected to the athletics Dept. Should hire Bar Patrol that does nothing but go from bar to bar checking! I know ridiculous but so is the issues we've been having coming out of bars.

Nobody has brought up the fact that this weekend was Graduation weekend and by 4pm Saturday all the dorms were a ghost town thus leaving traffic at local bars lighter then normal. An under 21 bar had to be crickets and two football coaches............ how does this happen on a weekend in which students aren't even on campus...........wow.
Start interviewing tomorrow for a new coach. Easy to find a new GA too.
