Not saying Baylor isn't doing the right thing, but they just punched their ticket to being irrelevant in college football again.

Yup, and there is the rub. College football is awful, because apparently the only way to compete on the national level is to put up with s**t like this that has no place in any segment of society let alone college athletics.
Used to be that you just needed to look the other way to NCAA infractions and try to cheat as much as everybody else, but not so much that you get caught. Now apparently you have to be willing to look the other way to sexual assault and similar transgressions.
Love Briles as an Xs & Os coach, but this crap is disgusting.

Are all these collegiate issues seemingly more prominent and numerous, more news sources also more acceptance in self reporting or and just recruiting a lower class of individual for the sake of winning maybe a combination of all plus some.

Baylor will clean house after a year with an interim. Enter Tom Herman.

Tech2000....I think we're in a different place culturally then we were even ten years ago. It drives me absolutely bonkers that people will be moved to tears over the "microagressions" they encounter while turning a blind eye to the rubble of victimization and exploitation that comprises our current pop culture. Truthfully...the incidents surrounding our program over the past couple of years have diminished my interest in the team. The rush by the NCAA to turn their game into NFL lite has really put a damper on my enthusiasm for the game in general.
Throw in all the criminal activity that's associated with the NFL....and the league's hesitancy to be at least as proactive on head trauma as the WWE...well...tyey've killed a lot of my interest in the game. It's hard for me to watch a sport with any sense of enjoyment when I know what many of those guys are going to be hollowed out shells in 10-15 years because their brains are literally rotting from CTE or they're physically broken down to the extent that they can barely walk.
