RB Bryson Denley

Post by BGSU33 »

Just saw this tweet. This kid was pretty highly rated coming out of high school:

Former Steele RB and Texas Tech recruit Bryson Denley is following Mike Jinks to Bowling Green, plans to be on campus in early August.

According to what i read, he was supposed to sign w/ TEX. TECH, then was "grayshirted ", allegedly due to possible grade probs. Hopefully things have been straightened out, and he'll obviosly prefer a schol. To maybe paying for a yr.

They wanted to redshirt him anyway...this could be helpful down the road if he wants to go for an extra year of eligibility
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

True, but only if he returns to 100%. Torn ACL's are common occurrences in football, but some guys never regain form after them. Many do, some don't. He joins Clint Stephens and Matt Domer with ones from BG already this year (Jacob Bennett might have one too). I'm all for a guy wanting or needing to RS, but never want to see it because of a serious injury.
