It's almost that time of year again! I'll be bringing the pick 'em contest back this year, but moving it to Yahoo instead of hosting it on the board. This is to provide more variability in the predictions as in previous years, everyone's picks were public. Much like last year, this will be based off a confidence number, with the highest numbers being applied to the games you feel the best about. With my job and other responsibilities getting in the way, I don't have the time to keep tally of everything this year which is why we're moving formats.

Thanks for this JP. Love that it's on a site where it's more automated. It's got to make it a lot easier for you. Also, like you said, it will improve the game since we can't see each other's picks ahead of time.

We currently have 14 players signed up so it's setting up to be an exciting competition. Feel free to use this thread to post any discussion or trash talking about how everything plays out!

Definitely will make it more wide open now that you can't piggyback someone else's picks.

I joined the group and made my picks but the CMU/Presbyterian game is not listed. Am I missing something?

Too bad, I was really looking forward to picking the Blue Hose. I gotta figure that with a name like that, you can't lose.

I'm not sure why that game isn't listed, may have to do with whether or not it has a line in Vegas.
