They claim a controversial call with under 3 minutes left when NW fumbled the ball into the end zone. They claim WMU batted the ball illegally back into the field of play before touching our of bounds. If the defender didn't touch the ball it would still been touchback. Not sure what NW had a beef about. Got my masters at NW so I wasn't very happy about losing to the boat rowers.

It's oarsmen, not boat rowers. WMU is trying to be more politically correct, I hear.

They wouldn't use oarsmen then. Limiting it to men is a microagression that reinforces the cisgendered patriarchy that plagues so many communities. You could say people with oars...but that leaves out the people who don't have oars. It's so hard to not say offensive things....
