UND game thread

Quick opening thoughts midway through the first ...
- offense is cooking now
- whenever this season Cleveland gets in the open he is gone
- UND is over matched on all fronts. Looking at the sideline I don't think they brought fifty players
- Phouthavong needs to quit dropping passes and needs to be more aggressive. He has the body to be New Gehrig Dieter but he doesn't yet have the experience
- Miller and Moore make for a difficult combo to defend

First 2 games will tell us little. Both mismatches.

Very sparse crowd. Probably more people at the Black Swamp Festival

Offense works well with the pace. I only saw good tempo last week when Morgan was in.

Defense tightened up when they needed but the lack of run defense was concerning. Looks like the weather is hurting all the kickers. Still hard telling how we are in that department.

Is it just me or did Phouthavong have that first down and then double back to try for more yards and thus a turnover on downs? These are the kinds of mistakes that get ironed out with experience.

Really Knapke

Knapke stares down his receivers too much. The defense knows where the ball is going.

Knapke threw a pick on a clear miscommunication. Moore slowed down his route not knowing the ball was in the air coming his way. Bummer.

MTSU is currently beating Vanderbilt

MTSU has lost four starting WRs for the season. I will have to check the status line to see who is even playing.

Last 3 possessions Knapke been pathetic, even if there are miscommunications.

The offense has dried up. A lot. This is a bit concerning. We are barely running, maybe we need to do some more handoffs.

This team will few games with QB play like this.

For reference OSU looks pretty ordinary against Tulsa.
