Awww...what a shame...we get to play them before Toledo.
Bowling Green, which will receive a $1.1 million guarantee for this contest, will be just the fourth school currently in the Mid-American Conference to play Notre Dame in football, and just the second in the last 96 years. The others are Miami (1909), Akron (1910), and Western Michigan (1919, 1920, and 2010).
Earlier this month the University of Toledo announced it also would play the Fighting Irish, with their contest on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021.

I'm down, always loved ND's tradition and it's close enough to be able to attend. Maybe they could schedule a hockey game between both schools to follow.

Won't miss this one. I attended a game there against Air Force one year...it was a blast.

That game will be played during week 5. So more than likely we will play 3 OOC games and 1 conference game and then play ND. Then return to conference play.

Make no mistake about it, right now Bob Moosbrugger has the easiest AD job in the country in terms of working out contracts for future schedules. There isn't an FBS AD in the country that doesn't want to get BG on its schedule right now after watching teams using 3rd stringers and walk-ons beat the snot out of BG with zero chance of a loss. They want to schedule FBS teams that will be a win and right now there isn't an easier target than BG. And there's a lot of FCS AD's that would love to come and get paid to play BG too.

I just hope we're not meeting up with Urban again on 10/5/2019.

Uh...what? This reads like a Trump rant at 3:30 in the morning.

I went to Notre Dame two weeks ago against MSU and it was awesome! This would be fantastic for BG!
