I think we will beat them. In fact, I like our chances in each game the rest of the way.

Win this one and I'll be happy. Win and look solid and I'll feel good about our chances to make a late season rally and build momentum going into final recruiting and the 2017 season.

Oh, I don't know. We have regularly been the right medicine for a struggling MiAudi team. I still have a bad taste in my mouth after nearly getting beheaded by a torn down goal post in '89. MiAudi beats BG in '87 and then doesn't win a game again until that game '89. We could only tie them as they were going winless. Dammit, Moe!

The last 10 games against the red-somethings, we're 5-5.

I like what I saw last week and I'm very happy at how this very inexperienced coaching staff has moved through the learning curve. I'm just not terribly confident of a sure win against the whammy.

Sean Ellis tip toes out onto the muddy field and falls on his ass trying to kick a FG....

Worst weather I've even sat thru...followed closely by MTSU this year.

I think we win at least 4 of our last 5...

Hard to say we have winnable games the rest of the way when the team's only win was by one point to an FCS opponent at home. Perhaps saying we'll compete would be a better assessment? The best chances at a win are against Miami and Buffalo. Kent will be a headache with Holley at QB, NIU always gives us fits and Akron can score points.

But, baby steps...get a win this week and continue some positive momentum into the bye.

It all starts with a win tomorrow. The board is largely optimistic right now. That's fine. I just need to see the team put together a complete win before I declare the worst behind us.

A win would go a long way.

I still to this day, have yet to find a game that BG has ever won in their entire history on a game-winning FG. I don't believe it has ever happened.

Or this mess, where they beat us on a last-second field goal that was invisible from the seats.

The weather for the Miami game is always a wild card....

The Mud Bowl was the worst. I don't think I've ever been so soaked in my life. Had Ellis made that FG it would have made up for being there in the driving rain.

The previous year was the weather delayed game in a storm with 40+ mph gusts. BG knew how to play in that weather - and Miami did not. Five interceptions and four times the long snapper missed the punter, three for safeties (NCAA record) and the other for a TD. Technically we held Miami to -64 yards, which is a program record for fewest rushing yards allowed in a game.

Activity on this board and thread is almost as bad as the attendance today. Very sparse. As for the game, 7-7 nearing the end of the first.
