MAC possible upsets?

Post by Class of 61 »

Don' t know current scores but Buff. Was ahead of Akron 20-10: OU on top of Tol. 14-3 last i saw.
Could mean BG would be ONLY team w/o a conf. Win.

Congrats Ohio!
Really hard game to watch with both teams trying to lose. Strange decisions by Ohio and they really miss both corner backs being out, injured QB, and their best defensive player (and others I don't remember). Hard to believe they won at toodleedoo. Harder to believe we didn't.
Toledo coach seemed to think he was too cool to coach.

That was the first time Ohio even played Toledo in about a decade and they beat them with a backup QB and on the road. Must be nice. Ohio is a lock for the MACC now and this is why I picked them to win the East.
GO BG!!!

Yep. Every year, the East winner is a lock for the MACC.

Buffalo found an offense. And Akron is in free fall.

Oh ... and nice win Bobcats! It would be sweet to see NIU extend their winning streak over UT in November.

Haven't you picked Ohio every year for the last 7? 2 out if 7 isn't bad.

The Toledo board is melting down after that loss. Typical Rockettes losing that one game per season to put them behind the 8-ball. WMU/Ohio looking like a legitimate championship game barring any late season surprises.

I thought WMU had a legit chance at 12-0 if everything fell their way. I underestimated them. They have been dominant. No luck needed, just high caliber football. I'd love to see WMU get a big bowl bid. They could beat one of the big ones.

I 've watched 2.5 UT games this year...they're an undisciplined bunch that's prone to taking stupid penalties and making unforced errors. They remind me of the Amstutz teams towards the end of his run. Not particularly impressed by OU either...yet to see much of WMU this year, but if OU and UT are among the best in the conference, it's a down year

I think he's already got them as his lock for 2017.

The winner of the BG/OU game. And it's holding steady for 5 consecutive years now. It's been THE game in the East.
GO BG!!!

I predict....

We will go 11-1 in 2018.....

...and there will be several threads discussing attendance, poor concessions and people wearing OSU gear.
