Well we are down to 4 teams without a win against an FBS opponent.

Those teams without an FBS win in 2016 are:

Florida Atlantic
Fresno State
Kansas
Bowling Green

Florida Atlantic does have a chance to beat UTEP or Rice playing at home. Kansas host Iowa State another bad team in two weeks.

Fresno only realistic shot is home against a 2-win San Jose State. Can Bowling Green win one of its last four games. I don't see us winning on the road. Can we win against Kent or Buffalo at home. It would be embarrassing to not win a game against a Div1/FBS opponent.

News flash. We're in a down year. We all knew it would be a step back this year but nobody had any idea how much of a step back. Thin roster? Check. New coaching staff? Check. Young players and first time starters all over the place? Check. Do we need so many new threads on the board reminding us of the same thing?

(I'm not singling you out, gmartin, more a PSA for the whole board ...)

I understand completely but I didn't want to bury this in a different thread. Of 128 schools BG is only 1 of 4, and by seasons end, possibly 1 of 2 schools without a single win against an FBS opponent.

We need about 15 more threads on this subject....I thought we'd lose 5-7 games this year based on the schedule and Knapke being the starter. This however is a team that is underachieving at almost every position and we're out coached every game. Before the season Jinks is quoted saying the program needs to take "the next step" as a mid major power....now it's how we're young and can only do so much. I don't know Jinks and I'm sure he's a great guy, but this is more than just a down year.

Don't you understand that there are people on here who get their panties all in a wad by having to read a new thread??? How dare you! They want everything combined into one single thread so you have to sort through tons of posts of people bashing each other, telling each other what to think, and complaining to no end to find new info.

Thanks for not burying this in a different thread and starting a new one based on the topic. It's refreshing to be able to scan a thread title for info based on the actual title, rather than having to search for an injury report in a thread full of complaints about the concessions from the North Dakota game.
