We've covered this before with recruiting sites. If one our guys would decide to commit to a "better" conference, in many cases he immediately goes up 1 star.

WMU's last few classes, IIRC, were in the #60-80 range and they did ok this year. I will take the best class in the MAC any day over the worst class in a "power 5" conf. Coach Jinks & staff are recruiting their asses off.

I don't see the basis for this point of view. He asked some tough questions of Mike Jinks in the year-end interview, for example.

Maybe Thomas should focus his energies on trying to get everyone in the athletic department fired, right guest44? Everyone that was hired during the Kingston era, at least.

Even though Rivals LISTS BG at #1, try to click on it to see WHO they list as verbals! Only MAC schools that come up are Tol., WMU, CMU, and ..... Kent! Makes no sense. Other sites, incidentally, still list either Tol or WMU at #1. So theres that.

It's a subscription based ranking site...take it with a grain of salt. And putting us ahead of Toledo, who they show with a better per recruit average makes little since anyway. Because we have 2 more recruits to bring in we get rated higher???

As for as for what shows, I thought the schools controlled whether that can be shown or not, but I could be wrong.

Tom, my point is that ONLY the 4 schools recruits will come up when you click on them. Makes little sense to not show the other 8 MAC schools verbals... You might be right but why wouldn't you want the publicity gained from releasing to the site, since thet obviously know who thr kids are.

Colleges don't release any information on any kid until they sign ...it's against the law...the ten commandments..the demandments of Hulkamania...and maybe the laws of nature to publicly comment on specific players until they sign. The kids and their HS coaches etc...talk to the sites. Coaches might tweet something like "got a big commit from the 313" or something vague like that or they'll pose for a photo at a home visit that gets tweeted by the kid but that's all. Whatever info rivals has...it didn't come from BG

Rivals doesn't seem to list any of the info they get for schools that don't have a pay site as part of the Rivals set up. Not sure why anyone would pay for this stuff when it's available for free on google, twitter etc...

The people that run 247...I think...were the guys that started Rivals back when they were the only site...they also have all the info you could possibly want for free. 247 is actually pretty good...they list the verbals on a ticker and they include smaller schools so you can see if Arkansas Pine Bluff got a ** DE from GA to commit

Dang these boys are BIG! Hopefully translates to performance & WINS!
