Hustle Belt is doing a Hall of Fame for the MAC and each school gets two inductees. You can vote for favorite BG nominee at the link below. Its hard to narrow do to just one choice. Surprised Dave Wotle wasn't one of the finalists.

Who is Ken Murrow? Sheesh! At least make sure that the names are spelled correctly!

Names have been corrected. I can't believe they didn't have Dave Wottle as a finalist. Richuan Holmes getting votes. I love Richuan, but he's not in the same league as others at this point in his career.

Agreed on Wottle.

I think the conversation should go..."Ok... Wottle is obviously #1..who's #2"

Hard to argue against Nate. Wottle became famous as an Olympic champion in one Magical race. Thurmond had a solid college career and is one of top 50 NBA players of all time. Face it NBA is just a bit better known to most folks.
But most of these guys deserved consideration, with Holmes having the "weakest resume ".

Wottle set the NCAA mile record while at BG, and still holds it since no one beat it before the NCAA discontinued the event.

Blake should have made the list over Wells; Wells has a gold medal but never made the NHL, Blake also won an Olympic gold, but has a retired NHL number and spot in the HOF to boot. And Holmes and Barns? Really?

Keep in mind this is a college hall of fame. It should not matter what they did once they left BG, correct?

Exactly...Wottle was a two time two time NCAA champ and and an Olympic Medalist. He's #1 in my book the rest are arguing for 2nd

Stupid list. Thurmond is a no-brainer, but no Rob Blake? And just because he was on the team, Mark Wells should not be on the list and Morrow is questionable. Gary Kruzich helping when a national championship was bigger than Morrow and Wells in the '80 team. Hershiser's pro career deserves attention too. Thurmond was an All-American candidate in college and NBA Hall of Famer. Dominated both areas like Wottle and I can watch him win that gold medal race 1,000 more times.

Ken Morrow is not questionable in my opinion. He was the most dominating defensive defensemen and I still believe the best BG player that I watched in my 41 years. I agree that Wottle also should have made the list. Both Morrow and Wottle made BG proud in the Olympics. My vote in the poll went to Morrow.

Josh Harris? Chris Jones? Bernie Casey? Paul Miles? And that's just football...

I voted for Nate the Great.

Morrow was also the first player to win an Olympic gold and the Stanley Cup in the same year. A feat that was not duplicated until the NHL started participating in the Olympics.
