Seeing how he mentored Knapke in 2014, I cannot help but think Matt Johnson has QB coach in the near future, perhaps greater possibilities upon succeeding there. Best of luck to one of the greatest I have ever seen play for Bowling Green.

I'm sure he is disappointed that things didn't work out with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Glad to see he landed on his feet. he was a heck of a player.

He will be an outstanding coach and like so many others, loved watching Matty J rep the Orange and Brown. He just has "it". Nothing but best to Matty J.

Yeah, I watched that game and saw him get injured... it looked bad. Though it sucks knowing he's done playing (purely selfish reasons), I'm glad he's getting his shot at Syracuse. Good luck, we'll be watching
