USA Today released athletic revenues and expenses for 2016 and to no surprise BGSU was last in the MAC in revenue and one of the lowest ranked FBS members.
A few things to note:
BG pulled in $2 million in ticket sales last year, compared to only 910K in 2005, that's a positive trend
There was an uptick in rights/licensing revenue
Fees charged to students while still about 60% of overall revenue, decreased slightly compared to 2015
