Vegas says just 4 wins for BG this year (over/under). Big part of it was the schedule, which unfortunately, only gets even tougher the next few years with a bunch of P5 games on it. Anyone with hopes of a 10-win season better put them on hold the next few years. Finishing above .500 will be the standard.

The way Jinks seems to be recruiting, I'm a bit more optimistic than that.

No doubt getting good players is the most important thing in MAC football. There's more to winning than just recruiting ranking though. Jinks has a lot to prove with on field performance. 4 wins seems a touch low, but not by much.

My buddy just got back from Vegas for the holiday weekend. I gave him 800 to put on the bg over. At absolute WORST I see them winning 4 games, being a push.
South Dakota, Kent state, and buffalo are all for sure wins. That means they just need to win ONE of the
"Probables" . Those being Miami, eastern, and Akron.
Not to mention there's the toss ups. Ohio and northern.
I seriously think the only for sure loss is northwestern. With Michigan state in turmoil and suspensions, Toledo a rivalry game, I'm not saying this team wins 10 games, but come on. Do any of you see them only winning 3? Really? No way

I don't know how Michigan State will fare in the Big 10, but they we won't have any trouble with us. We'll have a tough time moving the ball and they'll be able to at least run it. It may not be a blowout, but they'll easily win by two touchdowns.

One thing I will say for Jinks beyond recruiting...unlike DIno...he changed tactics when he saw things weren't working. Under Dino we'd see week after week of throws down the sidelines even though they were covered. Jinks was far more pragmatic

I'm in Vegas now. At the Wynn Casino. I been to 7 casinos that do sports and prop bets, future bets, etc. None of these casinos will accept the over/under until August. Haven't tried off strip casinos. So not sure what casino your buddy placed your bet at.

I can see us finishing anywhere from 5-7 to 8-4. Sheet, cut the turnovers in half and we'll win games. Every team in the MAC is beatable and this year the conference is about as even top to bottom as I've seen in a long time. Wide open race...

We will be a better team even though the overall record may not reflect it. We have another tough sked and only 5 home games. But, I feel good about Jinks going into year 2. We will be a more physical team and more experienced.

The southpoint. It's on the strip but I guess 3-4 miles south of the main drag. The only reason I knew about it was because an article I read was basically what the conference title games will be if Vegas got it right.
