Dieter had 1 catch for 16 yards in the 2nd half against the 49ers. Also had 1 punt return but of no yards. Too many players to leap over to make the 53 man roster but hopefully he will make the practice squad.

Don't see Deiter making the roster. This past game he had no catches, only targeted once and 1 punt return for 3 yards.
For the preseason he has 1 catch of 16 yards and 2 punt returns of 3 yards.

Hoping he has shown enough on special teams to make the practice squad. All has been positive on him and him and mahomes have become close as well. In their first game when mahomes scrambled dieter was the guy he was looking for every time.

The Chiefs just released its depth chart for preseason game #3. Dieter is listed as the #12 WR. Also no longer listed on special teams. Still hoping he makes the practice squad.
Fwiw, former Rocket Kareem Hunt is now the #3 RB.

What, Kareem Hunt isn't still at Turdledo??
The dude was there for what seemed like the last 8 years. I just assumed he was never leaving!

I hate to say it, but I pushed Dave Clawson to go hard after Hunt after I saw him play at Will. South. A STUD to sat the least. Dave said he'd gotten a verbal from a great kid from FLA. , ( can u say Fred Coppet?).
Coppet had a nice career with us but Hunt was special IMO. Appears the NFL might be in agreement, but time will tell.

Yeah, both were good RB's but UT had the better of the two. That's evident both looking back and going forward.
What's interesting to me is, BG's all-time leading rusher (Travis Greene) wasn't even a RB by trade, he was a converted WR. I would have labeled him well below average playing solely at WR in the spring and during his first year at BG, but when he switched positions, he was fantastic. And there were a number of pretty highly rated RB's that we brought in who played RB in high school that were not as good as Greene was buried behind him on the depth charts for three seasons. I remember the concern we had at RB moving him there, then he went off and became BG's all-time leading rusher in essentially three seasons. What a fantastic decision to move him to RB that turned out to be. Easily one of my favorite players ever. I miss that dude.

I loved Greene, but even he (IMO) was not the same level of player as Hunt.
Hunt would have been awesome in Orange & Brown. Would have loved to see him in Orange & Brown on Sundays as well. I think he's gonna have a nice NFL career. KC already has a couple decent RBs, but eventually he's gonna get his shot, and I think he'll be good.

Hunt's a talented kid..but there's a lot of miles on the tires and injuries were an issue at UT. I hope he has a long career...but...

Last night Dieter was the top receiver in catches and yards. Hunt was the leading rusher.

Aside from the fumble Kareem Hunt had a very impressive first NFL game against the world champions Patriot.
148 yards rushing
98 yards receiving
3 Touchdowns
Even for a Rocket that's impressive for your first NFL game.
