Gabe Martin

Former BG linebacker Gabe Martin was released by the Arizona Cardinals yesterday. It said he was injured.
Hope he has a chance to catch on somewhere else.

I wish the young man well. If he recovers and goes on to have a lengthy career, that would be fantastic. If he doesn't catch on somewhere else, I'm sure his knowledge would be useful back in Bowling Green as a position coach. Good luck, Gabe!

Read an article that he has an Achilles tendon injury. If that is the case and depending on the severity, he'd be out at least half the season to the entire season.

Always a leader...he was a great presence in the locker room here. Hope it is only a temp setback...
