One game at a a time and all that coach speak ...

Once we dispatch SD, NW is up next and they are getting wiped out by Duke right now 24-10. I thought NW was going to be our toughest opponent .... look good tonight and hit on all cylinders and we can reasonably think upset special next week.

We are a mediocre MAC team. Mediocre QB, mediocre HC, mediocre defense. We aren't beating anyone outside of bad MAC teams and possibly South Dakota. Maybe next year or two years from now will be different, but this year we aren't beating anyone who can play a little bit.

And MSU currently up 14-0 on WMU. Maybe MSU is a little better than we thought.

That's probably being generous.

I wish we were a mediocre MAC team. I'm longing for Moe Ankney right now.

Moe Ankney lost to Youngstown State 30 years ago.

And YSU, coached by Jim Tressel, went 8-4 and (I believe) won their league that year. I'm not sure what this has to do with anything, but I'm sure it has something to do with something.

Other fascinating information ... Ankney and Tressel each were in their 2nd season as head coach at BG & YSU, respectively.

Jinks and South Dakota's Bob Nielson each are in their 2nd season at their respective school.

Mind. Blown.
