One thing is clear - we have NO identity

None, nada, nothing. We look scared as hell trying to pass the ball, we can't run the ball against anyone with a pulse, and we can't defend the pass or the run. Aside from punting and now somehow finding what looks like a good kicker (which was something we always seemed to struggle with even when we had some good teams), we aren't good at anything right now. We simply don't have a strength on any side of the ball or on the sidelines. What can we even possibly turn to at this point?

You can't run a Texas Tech offense completing <40% of your passes. You have to complete around 70%.
Mahomes completed 65% last year for 5000 yards and Tech still had a losing season. I do not like this offense. I prefer "manball" so to speak that Clawson ran. More sustainable and less reliant on one or a few players.

They or Morgan more specifically don't take what the defense gives them. So many low percentage passes way down field when you can check down for easy yards. Then when you factor in boneheaded penalties and being careless with the ball you get a really bad football team.

I hate our offense, or lack thereof. I agree, we developed into a very balanced offensive team under Clawson and were very sound on defense. Right now we look both lost and confused on both sides of the ball. And I see no fix in sight.

Penalties. No one commits penalties like we do.
Also...
Touchdowns called back. Three in one game. That's pretty impressive. We can hang our Nike hat on both of these things.
