Starting a new thread to push on to Northwestern for a few reasons:
1) The SD game is over, and BG lost because they played terribly and couldn't figure out how to score touchdowns without committing backbreaking penalties. Talking about it more won't fix anything.
2) In watching the press conference Teo Redding gave, it's clear that the players still feel they can right the ship, and to me that matters a lot more than what Jinks says, so I'm ready to stay behind them and hope for the best.
3) Most importantly, I already bought my tickets to the Northwestern game and I plan on going and having a great time, dammit.

I'll be there. Last time we saw the Falcons play in person was in Memphis. (So it's got to get better, right?)

Northwestern is beatable and we will win. Jinks has to get the offense ready to play and run the clock and score touchdowns. Offense is the key to winning. Just take what the defense gives, clock management and score tds. Help our defense no excuses will be accepted........I'm looking at going 2-2 into MAC play.
WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YES WE CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else going to the NW tailgate tent prior to the game?

Any predictions?
I actually think this game will be close. We obviously have problems, but so does Northwestern. Looking forward to seeing if we can make it 3-0 against the Wildcats.

NW is a 21.5 pt favorite, I think they cover. Until BG proves they can move the ball consistently I have little faith we'll be able to hang with our next two opponents.
NW 38
BG 10

BG 35
NU 32
The Fire Jinks crowd gets completely confused on what to do after this one.

I believe I'll be at the official tailgate for a bit before the game. I'll be the guy in orange.
In watching both of the first two games in full, I can't imagine this is going to be a great result, even though I hope I'm proven wrong (and genuinely believe they CAN prove me wrong).
NU - 42
BG - 20

Looking for an establishment within walking distance that serves alcohol and maybe some form of food. . . .

Within walking distance of the stadium? Afraid there aren't a ton of great choices there, but there are free shuttles to the stadium throughout the town. If you go into downtown Evanston you're a baseball's throw from about 20 bars.

Moving the ball consistently
and scoring TD's. I love the fact Jake Suder is 5 for 5 on FG's but we need to score TD's.

NW- 34
BG- 20
BG +22 is a gimmie in my book. A few years back NW was nicknamed the "cardiac cats" for making every game close at the end. They beat Nevada by 11. We are bad but so is Nevada lol.

I'm thinking World of Beer and/or Celtic Knot Public House. If the shuttles are accessible that's a great option or a short Uber ride to Ryan Field it appears!
