I watched the toledo game today. Almost every snap by their qb was made with less then 5 seconds lefted on the play clock. This limited Miami touches and kept them in the game for 3 quarters. Why don't we do this to control the momentum of the game?? We play fast and fail all the time. The defense is sure to loose to good offense at times. I just dont understand this logic of playing fast. If you control the clock. You limit their plays your in the game longer. That gives you abetter chance. Last with no offense our defense will give up points. That is just fact!
Our defense is not that bad. The last two games they picked on one side most of the game. That corner i believed got benched.
If we had any offense our defense would look better. 1 yard rushing in d1 fcs football???

Actually, I don't think we play fast at all anymore. Trying to do so, like everything else, failed. We tried it early last season and since then it's been slower. But if we are still trying, maybe we're just in a hurry to get the loss over with.
