No my friend. Mike Jinks is a disgrace. This program is now a disgrace. Chris Kingston is a disgrace for hiring this fraud and then jumping ship at first opportunity. I am a realist saying what many people are thinking but just don't have the want or balls to post.

Let's get back to the point that made this all so predictable. Jinks did not even have an agent. Wasn't prepared to be a head coach in his own mind. Does Jay Crawford want be an assistant AD?

Maybe we should just combine Toledo, BG, Owens, Findlay, Tiffin, Defiance, Heidelberg, Lourdes & Wooster into one big university so we can pool our talent and coaching staffs.

I don't get the idea that we can't blame Jinks and this is all Kingston's fault. He did not have to accept this job. At any moment he can stop and say you know what I'm not qualified, I thought I could do this but I wasn't ready and resign. He took the job, so as long as he is in this position he is as accountable as anyone.

He deserves as much criticism as anybody. He's the highest paid person at the university and in the spotlight more than anyone. He gets paid to win football games. It would be one thing if it was strictly a talent issue but this team week after week looks like they have no clue what they are doing.

Its because of the Louis Orr Syndrome. Because people think he's "a nice guy" they will come up with any excuse to defend him. Orr rotted and rotted and people on this board were still defending him 4-5 years into his tenure, using the "Next year's recruiting class will be awesome" defense. Same exact thing is happening with Jinks. The most laughable Jinks excuse is "Babers left the cupboard bare". I literally laugh every time I see someone defend Jinks with that. This team had good players. They went to multiple MAC Championship games. Its a coaches job to take the players he has and make it work. A good coach has no problem with that. Jinks has a huge problem with that and is clearly not fit for the job. But the same people will continue to make excuse after excuse after excuse, no matter how outlandish it is, because Jinks is a good guy. Good guys are let go or quit from jobs they have everyday because they just aren't good at it.

I always keep optimistic round here because a) I think we have a great fan base and I'd rather not personally add fuel to fires indicating otherwise and b) I know for a fact that recruits and families of recruits peruse boards like this to get a pulse of fan bases. Point is while I am optimistic and upbeat online and I keep pouring a lot of time and effort into the weekly previews, I'll say that privately to those who know me well it is a different tune. And I'll repeat my call from earlier ... if anyone has the AD's ear, let me know. I have a workable idea for moving forward but I don't want to publicly speculate or fuel an unnecessary fire.
