How will our guys finish out the year... roll over and go 0-4? OR go out swinging and pick up a couple W's?

4 straight would be a 5-7 finish. Here's hoping they can do it.

I think the best we can hope for is 1-3. I can see us beating Kent. We won't win in Buffalo, Toledo will drill us and EMU's record is very deceptive. They'll probably beat us up in Ypsi.

If Kent rolls in here tonight and wins...things are worse than I thought...and right now I think things are pretty bad

I'm hoping to get a win tonight at Kent. Buffalo is still a possibility, although they're looking to be much better than they were predicted to at the beginning of the year. Toledo is going to be a tough one. They should maul us, but they should have last year when it took them until the 59th minute of the game to put us away at their place. At the Doyt... who knows? Maybe Jinks has shifted his focus to that game already. And EMU is better than their record shows, so that'll be a tough one as well. Overall, I'm hoping to get one or two more at the most this year.

I don't think Kent will roll into BG and win tonight considering the game is over at Kent State.

Obviously I wanna see us go 4-0 down the stretch. I think we beat Kent tonight, have a close one with Buffalo that can go either way.....and EMU? They should be favored but it is a winnable game.

Here is where I start thinking crazy...I think we not only hang with ut, but beat them. Yes, I know how good they are. Yes, they will certainly be favored. Anything can happen in this rivalry and we are so effin overdue. They beat us when we were the better team and turnabout is fair play. As mbenecke said, look at last year. But I will say this...they will be strolling into the Doyt on 11/15 expecting to win BiG. They will basically say "We own you and will beat you again on your home field...and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it". Well, it's time to sack up and punch them in the effin mouth.

What I really wanna see is improvement over the first half of the season...show me we are making progress and give me hope for 2018. Honestly, I haven't seen nearly enough, if any, improvement from last season.

BEAT KENT STATE

Toledo put up nearly 60 on Ball State in 3 quarters. Remember the OSU game last year. 77-10. We may see a similar score on 11/15

They sure did...and they scored 20 against EMU and needed a last second pick in the end zone to avoid defeat at home. Just gimme a glimmer of hope will ya?

Jinks is now 4-1 in MACTION mid week games. Jinks is also 2-14 on games played on Saturdays. Maybe we need to figure out a way to play all 12 of our games during the week.

Sadly, I think it's 0-fer from here on out.

With a very bad butt-kicking at the hands of our former rivals to the North.

I say "former" rivals, because to have an actual rivalry, both teams need to win games in the series. All I see in the last (nearly) decade are Toledo wins and BG losses.

LOL - This might be easier than scraping together $1.2M to get rid of him!!

After a solid win last night, we beat Buffalo next week, get steam-rolled against TSUN and then finish with a dud against Eastern...2-2.
