An angry Toledo team coming to BG next week.

Ohio put an ass kicking on the Rockettes.

Toledo soccer ruined our chances of a MAC Championship so maybe our football team can pull the upset and ruin Toledo's trip to Detroit.

They would have been angry regardless. They play for Toledo. Additionally, they haven't won a title in over a decade. And if they don't win it this year, possibly the worst MAC season of football in recent memory, they may never win it.

My thoughts exactly Tom. They always melt down in crunch time and haven't been in the MAC title game since 2004. Last night was step 1...why not pull a huge upset that nobody believes will happen and heap more onto that misery?

This the weakest I've seen the MAC in a while and they have many SR starters, especially on O. If they don't win it all this year, they never will. Pressure is starting to mount...and none is on BG.

Are you going to game next wed.? I'm looking to go, but hate that drive alone. Was thinking about an overnight hotel stay rather than a 1:30-2:00am return.

I talked to a guy awhile back who played there...forget his name...when it was TU. His take from the beginning of the year was "if we don't win it this year...we never will"

No question, they came strutting into Peden feeling they should be ranked and expected to roll through Ohio. They were flat out dismantled! All the chips seem to be lined up on paper for Toledo to win it this year. But last night was a cruel reminder that they're a lot further away than they realized.

They changed it shortly after opponents starting chanting PU-TU, and for no other reason than that.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid we blew our shot last year. That game was there for the taking and we just couldn't get it done. It's gonna take much more luck this year.

NIU destroyed Ball State (easily the worst team in the conf) tonight, 63-17, while WMU is very much alive. CMU still has an outside shot in the West.

Yeah Den. Major Falcon will have his RV and was kind enough to let me crash in there. No way am I driving back to Akron with an 8PM kickoff. Working a half day Wed and took Thur off as well.
