While I agree to a certain extent, I'd also argue that Eastern Michigan is the definition of suck. They have beat Mike Jinks back to back years. Great hire Chris.

I hear what you are saying. We should expect to beat Eastern Michigan every year.

With that said, this particular EMU team was one of their best in 20 years. The Eagles lost three times in overtime this season, including to Northern Illinois, and they had other close calls. The fact that we played them as well as we did last night, given our struggles this season, was mildly encouraging to me.

So, based on Jinks resume or lack thereof, is it fair to say that Texas Tech is the model of what BG can become? Finish under .500 and go to bowl games 1 out of every 3 years like they do? Eastern is better, but moral victories vs them, is like Big Ten teams finding moral victories in close loses to Rutgers. Say it aloud, BG is now losing to Eastern Michigan yearly. That team you used to drive up north to play and watch BG drop 50 or 60 on. #TalonsUp
