Has anyone heard anything on when they will actually start putting up the new scoreboard? It has just been sitting out there on the ground for the past week or so.

Haven't heard anything, but I thought they said a couple of weeks back that it would be done the first week of August. I think Media/Picture day is Aug 21 or 23 (can't remember right now), so I am sure it will be done by then.

I finally got a few pictures of the scoreboard construction off of my camera for folks who haven't seen the action. Ended up forwarding them to the athletic department, and suddenly they're up on the official site. Woot to that! :D

I dropped in to chat with him earlier this week. Any professor who lets you surf AZZ.com in the middle of class is okay in my book!

Is Jim Gordon still around? He was pretty much a legend with the news photography majors...
