Teo is a hidden gem. Lions are going to be happy with him I think.

I think Teo has a legit shot at an NFL career. Not really familiar with the bottom of Detroits wr depth chart, but I think he has a shot.
He's got great hands and elite ball skills. I thought those things alone were enough to earn him a camp invite. Then he goes out on the BG pro day and shows up as an upper echelon sparq guy (70th percentile for NFL wrs).
His lack of production here guaranteed he wasn't draftable, but I think his talent can play. Our offense and QB play was a train wreck most of the last 2 years, and prior to that we were so stacked at wr he want gonna get a shot.
He'll need to work on the route tree, obviously. Our offense have never asked much of our wrs in that regard. And at 6'1 he's gonna want to put on some muscle. But his athleticism and ability to get the ball and snag it could keep him in the league awhile. So much of udfa guys making it is in circumstance and how much they really want it, but in terms of actual talent, I think he is more talented than Lewis was.

As was proven with Calvin Johnson...a guy with a huge catch radius...Stafford will put the ball in your general area. If you can get up there to grab it, you'll do well. Teo is a guy who will go up there and get it. So far as the Lions go....Tate and Marvin Jones are the top guys. NIU's Kenny Golladay and TJ Jones are probably the third options....then you have some pretty unremarkable guys after that. Golladay has more upside than TJ.....I could see Teo making that team and having a legit shot

Agree on your Lions WR analysis Flipper. The remaining WRs below the top 4 are Jace Billingsley ( a darling in the preseason but mostly a practice squad guy with zero catches in the regular season), Dontez Ford who has no NFL stats, Andy Jones with similar numbers, and Bradley Martez with 16 career receptions only 3 of which occurred in the last two years. Teo at thls point has a chance to be the #5 guy or at a minimum stick with the practice squad.

I like those odds for him. Similar odds for both Dieter and Lewis when they were signed. Good battles to be had for the 4th and 5th receivers.

Dude has a legit upper echelon NFL catch radius & ball skills.
Then he went out and showed off a top tier SPARQ as well.
He was kinda lost here with the glutton of talent at the WR position in '14 & '15, then the crapshow that was our offense/QB play for most of '16 & '17. His lack of production was the reason he went undrafted, and I think you could make a reasonable argument that his production was never indicative of his ability here. He could end up having the best NFL career of any of our recent WRs (relatively low bar), if he can catch on there.
He is incredibly talented, and a prime candidate to be one of those "better in the NFL than college" types if he works at it.
