Announced via Twitter, pretty substantial loss to an already thin defense.

These transfers feel a lot like they're due to a change in mindset/intensity with a new defensive staff. It sucks to be losing bodies but if a better system is put in place and the people who stick around are buying in, I think it should still be a better D overall.

Sad to see Cam move on...he is a very solid player. Next Man up!

Wow! didn't think Cam would jet out of BGSU. He was committed to BGSU and stayed when Babers left. How does a kid get a bachelor degree in business in two year? Took me 4 years! He played as a true freshman, Cam must be a bright young man to accomplish that. Big lost and wish him well. Nothing negative to say about this young man.

Truthfully...we re-did the coaching staff on the defensive ball completely. I kinda surprised more guys have transferred out than the few we've lost

The defensive coaching has changed, and (hopefully) the culture along with it. That will probably mean guys that were entrenched in the old system won't feel comfortable and will want to leave. It's the price you pay when you make a big change like this. Let's just pray it all works out, and BG has an actual college football defense when all is said and done.

Even a decent D unit makes us a major player in the East....and it couldn't get much worse, in reality.

Nice article on this young man and family. Wish he would of stayed at BGSU.
