Mr. Briggs is spot on. Its about time. Thank you. No more kids gloves that Wagner and Strack handled Jinx with.

Big surprise, Texas Tech is having arrests just like BG is. Jinks has been in college football for like 4 years, and the two programs he has touched lead college football in arrests. Must be a total coincidence.

When your AD is as clueless as your head coach:

“There are 105 football players, and unfortunately we're focused on the five who are no longer with us,” BG athletic director Bob Moosbrugger told me.

Why do you think that is, Moose? Could it be because your football program is tied for the most arrests out of all the football programs? Apple doesn't fall far from the tree I guess. Nobody wants to take responsibility and have accountability. This athletic department is as much a problem as this football program.

I bet John Wagner got a late night mafia style call from Moose;

“Get your boy Briggs under control, or you can kiss Fricker's and your “privileges” good bye! You like those Little Kickers all drums with double sauce, don’t you? Take care of it John!!”

And then the phone abruptly hangs up with a slam.

Dear Toledo Blade,

Bowling Green has lost to Toledo 8 straight times in Football. Bowling Green has struggled to self evaluate it's athletic department for decades, never more so than now. Can you please do us a favor and transfer John Wagner to the Toledo Rockets beat, to ask Coach Candle questions about hot dogs? Bowling Green does not need a beat writer who wishes athletes Happy Birthday on Twitter, and doesn't have the ability to ask a coach/AD a tough question. Basic research showed that arrests have followed Mike Jinks throughout his SHORT college coaching resume. As fans, we got questions about hot dogs and not the arrests. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Those fewer BG Alums who still care about BGSU Athletics

Here's my expected reply to your letter:

Dear BGSU fans,

We are the TOLEDO Blade and you country bumpkins south of the city are lucky we even take I-75 that far south or acknowledge your mid-major presence. We have Rockets, UM, ND, THEosu and Lourdes to cover. By our estimation you are no better than the 5th most important college fan base we aim to please and you are lucky we actually assign a permanent writer to cover your programs. The wings best be good, drums only with the requested sauce and sides, or coverage will decline. As for your request for tough questions we may consider that mode of operation if it benefits our primary college programs but we believe you know not what you ask for because we can be cruel and relentless even when your programs are running smoothly winning championships.

Thanks for your concern,
The TOLEDO Blade
