If anyone watched the Browns last night, did Roger Lewis play for the Giants? I didn’t recall seeing him, but box score showed Lewis w/ 2 catches for 20+ yds. Just wondered how I missed it, though I didn’t see much of 4th Q.

He played. #18. I saw he was targeted a few times. Didn’t actually see the catches.

Lewis was not playing with the first team at all from what I saw. Some receiver named Sharp and another whose name I can't recall seemed to be getting in there instead of Lewis. He did however make a couple catches as others pointed out and made a nice tackle on a punt. Will be interesting to see if he cracks the roster this year, because it looks like this new coaching staff may not be as high on his prospects as the previous regime was.

I was in Utah and NFLN had the game with the NYG announcers. They think he'll make the roster but as nothing more than a gunner and depth WR. I don't think he impressed enough last season in a starting role, albeit on a terrible team.

Roger Lewis was cut by the NY Giants and did not make the practice squad either.

Roger was at the Maryland game Saturday. He came up to the Falcon Club area for a while. Said hello to him and was glad to see him back at BG. Hope he lands on his feet somewhere.
